IOMON 3.0 Release

A new 2.0 version of IOMON has been released on April 2, 2008. The new version of IOMON engine includes improvement to memory management, shared memory and task scheduling. As a result the engine is fasted and uses the memory more efficiently. The new version of I/O Monitor Engine for data control and aquisition also includes the following improvements:

• Introducing a concept of parameters for use in the formulas. Paramaters are like variable constants. They do not change within the execution of IOMON but they provide better way to handle the formulas, calibration and tuning.
• Support for PHP Interface
• Support for C/C++ Interface
• Expanded capabilities of iomonview, the stand alone interface for IOMON engine.
• Added support for MODBUS RTU.
• Added MODBUS RTU test utility mbcrtu to help configure and troubleshoot MODBUS serial connections.
• Added utility to test IOMON formulas iomprn.
