A new MODBUS-RTU module allows for monitoring data from other devices over the MODBUS protocol.
Our DCS 2.0 embedded server with MODBUS-RTU module installed may be the easiest and secure way to
log and post data to the web from older PLC.
Included web server and utilities allow for rapid setup and configuration.

A new 2.0 version of IOMON has been released on April 2, 2008.
The new version of IOMON engine includes improvement to memory management, shared memory and task scheduling.
As a result the engine is fasted and uses the memory more efficiently.

The new 2.0 version of Data Control Server (DCS) has been released on Jan 28, 2008.
The new version is based on Linux kernel 2.6.22 and supports the i486SX, i486, and i586 embedded PC platforms.

There are several ways to interface the I/O monitor engine (IOMON).
For simplicity and minimal effort there is ready to use IOMONVIEW utility program
providing various ways to show current status and signal values.
For more complex yet not too "heavy" there is PHP interface.
PHP script interfacing IOMON can be developed without any additional tools or compilation process.
PHP also fits well into web interface allowing for nice graphics and interactive user input as well.
The PHP interface is free and comes with several sample programs installed on the based system.
