Automation and Control
Small Solutions
Our embedded solutions are especially remarkable for their low cost and
innovative technology in small applications that require remote control and
access. After a simple configuration and setup, the embedded Data Control
Server (DCS) is capable of performing complex input and output process
operations, effectively controlling wide range of devices and yet allowing for
secure remote access and administration. Without a complex programming and
compiling process, our DCS embedded server can read wide range of input
signals. With built-in powerful formulas configurable by the user, the unit is
capable of sending digital and analog signal to external devices and equipment.
This way, in minutes and without external tools and licenses, you can create
custom and quite sophisticated automatization solutions.
Whether monitoring of tank levels needs more sophistication than just a
standard floater or you need to interface precision instrumentation, our
solutions can help. Please, consider the following examples keeping in mind the
range of possibilities in addition to actual solution:
Tank level monitoring with pump control
The tank level (assume water) analog sensors is connected to DCS data
acquisition unit (DAQ). Two water pumps: a regular pump and a buster pump are
used to pump water to the tanks when water level falls below a high setpoint.
The buster pump is used only when water level is below 50%. Two digital output
signals are coming from the DAQ to relays which control the pumps. A simple
configuration allows for turning both pumps on when tank level falls below one
level and only one pump when tank level is below another value. Another set of
low and high tank level values may be used to send alarm email messages. This
may alarm an operator when water is overflowing or under a critical low level (
for example for when a pump fails to pump).
Metering Pump with Loop Control
A metering pump is set to pump the chemical (assume chlorine) to flowing
water. The addition of chlorine must be precise and proportional to the water
flow rate; therefore, a flow meter is installed. Additionally, a chlorine
sensor is installed in the water line. The flow rate and the chlorine level
signal are both fed to Data Control Server data acquisition unit as analog input
signals. The analog output signal is configured as a function of water flow
rate. However, the actual chlorine reading may act as a compensation or an
alarm trigger when the chlorination gets out of expected range.
Plant Automation
BORYNET provides a multitude of integrated process control and
instrumentation solutions to enhance complex engineering processes. Our full
plant automation solutions are based on Bristol Babcock (now part of Emerson
Process Management) PLC line of products such as ControlWave, ControlWave Micro,
and ControlWave Express.
BORYNET has been developing projects all the way from conceptual phase
through the system design, to installation and startup. Whether it’s specifying
instrumentation, providing control requirements, evaluating human machine
interface requirements, or determining platforms, BORYNET provides a high level
of expertise in system design. The company also has expertise in control panel
layout, design, and wiring. |
