Data Acquisition

We offer data acquisition and data-logging total solutions: software along with quality hardware, installation support and/or custom engineered solutions. Our product line supports broad range of electrical signals (voltage and current 4-20 mA) and protocols (such as MODBUS) effectively allowing for interfacing a variety of probes, sensors, and sophisticated instruments.

Our innovative data-logging software provides for great customization and user input. At the same time, no additional tools or licenses are required, making it more attractive and user friendly.

The archived data may be stored in different formats:

  • HTML - ready to display using a web browser
  • CSV - ready for spreadsheets or further processing
  • XML - ready for more accurate filtering and processing
  • SQL - ready for insertion into a SQL database

The archived data can be easily retrieved (pulled or pushed) from/to a remote location over the Internet or local area network using File Transfer Protocol (FTP). When data-logging is combined together with embedded WEB server, the real-time and historical data may be viewed using any browser. With a little of personal adjustments, the data may be transformed into a graph or a chart. The user can also take advantage of browser downloading capabilities and get the data this way.

Data logging allows for data mapping, calibration adjustments and custom output formatting. It also allows for creating virtual signals which are defined as a mathematical function over real signals. For example, if a real input temperature signal is defined in Celsius degrees, one may create and log virtual temperature signal that shows the same value in Fahrenheit degrees. The data loggers supports multiple log files. This is useful when two different types of files are needed and different granularity of records is requested. For example, an hourly records can be stored in daily log in CSV format whereas daily records may be stored in a monthly log of a different format.
